ok fella mine is a late 2004 model....wish had seen your post sooner....in two minds now , take off my fix somehow...i guess heating it with a hairdryer may peel off by softening the contact adhesive...hmm

Yes and I'm not sure why shipping is so much as it comes in a small padded envelope....

thanks for response ebay link is from a us seller....and of course shipping a joke to europe, im europe based and found place in lithuania 22dollars including shipping, question now is undo my current fix if i can strip off that glued on inner tube fix or not....thanks again for tip of course is a massive saving compared to buying whole strip

In argument now with a uk seller who is telling me no such part number exists despite even sending them a photo of an officially packaged item with the product inside and part number printed on it...in meantime best deal I got is 18euros inc shipping bit steep for a bit of plastic but hey, my fix seems fine, but may buy it keep to one side in case.....the older car gets harder to source parts.....this is all part of that planned obsolescence tactic, since money accounts men got involved car design has gone down the drain..... don't build em to last

He may be looking at it as a BMW part number NOT a lamb roller part number...

Good luck and you might be able to get parts cheaper in Bahrain and sent via cargo since Gulf Air has 2 direct flights a day to Cyprus and they are many Brits working in the GCC who live there if you know any of them....
