Agreed, Andrew. Definitely a more useful gauge now

I would prefer the alarm went off at 116 C or even 120 C, so if we can figure out where the parameter is in the eeprom, I will change it.

Because it *is a gauge now*! From the factory it's not a gauge it's a three position idiot light.

: Is there anyone locally that can program mine? I'm constantly looking at the gauge when stuck in heavy traffic. I'm not so much worried now. After replacing the A/C pressure switch, the aux fan is always running.

Aux fan should always be running when A/C is on

I didn't recall it always running but at a much lower temp so likely almost always. The n55 i think runs the fan 14% minimum with ac on but there's no clutch fan.

Mine has both. The clutch and blade are 3 years old. After replacing the switch and compressor, the aux fan runs great. The Topaz brushless fan spins up fast.

Define local. Head over to I-10 and then drive west for about 8 hours and we can do it, lol

If I head over to Austin, I'll let you know. No current plans.

Outside Austin city limits, it's just down the road for a Texas highway.

Hit me up, it will earn you some Texas Lockhart BBQ or Black's BBQ in town. Bring a cooler to take some back.
