Coolant leak - Engine oil cooler pipe ?
This hose is the engine oil cooler pipe? The picture is taken from bottom passenger side https://www.hubauer-shop.de/en/engin...6S7nNobJr_1m0s |

Wow, corrosion is eating up the crimp. I've seen it on other manufacturers crimped lines. If coolant is dripping down on it from above, is the reservoir cap or tank on the same side? Or the radiator is starting to fail. Can you pressure test the system?

Your are right. The coolant can be dripping from above. The reservoir is at the opposite side.
Those hoses transport engine oil as I understand? What information do I get from a pressure test? I know there is a coolant leak |

You know it's leaking but don't know for sure where it is leaking from. If those are oil pipes then it is not reasonable to think they are leaking from those lines. A pressure tester will force it to leak in real time, allowing you to observe the source of the leak.

Any progress? You may need to remove the fan/shroud to see a radiator leak. Plastic end caps are notorious for leaks over time.

For sure! I went through two of those and three tanks! Finally figured out it was a leaking oil cooler seal! The oil cooler would teeter and leak. It teetered on the center portion causing the outside connection seal to leak. Finally fixed it by securing the transmission cooler lines. No leaks since!

I got delayed in the process. Unfortuenataly I damaged the engine oil cooler.
I ordered a coolant pressure test. When I removes the air intake I see the lower coolant hose with the temperature senser leaking coolant. I now changed this hose and sensor |
