Two weeks in the dealership...hurray for extended warranty!!

Well......so my wife was driving into the village 35kms away to pick up the girls from preschool (with the puppy in the X5 with her), and Poof!! White smoke coming out the tailpipe, engine light, and it turns off. BMW Assist, flatbed, I leave work to get the girls at 2pm.

Fast Forward....Engine Crankcase valve froze and filled the engine and exhaust with oil. All replaced with better parts under CPO warranty.

I leave the dealership Friday night, engine light comes back on. Cracked intake manifold. Fixed under warranty.

I leave the dealership Tuesday night, light comes back on. Oxygen sensors need cleaning. Fixed under warranty.

Me and the loaner 320i are getting real close now.

Finally, thursday, I leave the dealership and Saturday the seat heater burns a hole in the driver's seat while my wife is coming back from the barn.

When does this nightmare end?????

BTW my dealership are great at what they do....this is the truck's fault.

Do I need to give the dealership a list of every TSB known to mankind and get them to fix it in advance?

We've owned the truck since November 2004, and have put about 37,000 trouble-free kilomtres on it, my wife driving her easygoing style. We have towed about 3,000 kms with our 5000lb. horse trailer (why we got the X5).
