Blower fan

I’ve been reading up on the various dash removal threads, and appreciate all the great lessons learned and guidance. The cold weather in a left hand turn screeching is getting to my limit so I’m likely going to do this job this summer, when I have 4 or 5 days off and can devote to it.

My question is, are there any other items I should consider replacing while in there, so this can be a lifetime once and done job, hopefully? I’ve got some cracked defog vents I hope to replace, and I’ll give everything a good clean to remove 20 years of dirt and lint, but what about heater cores, AC parts, seals, the little motors that control the flaps…etc?

Thanks all
