80stech is on a distinguished road
15w40 would be fine but I think maybe hard to get in synthetic, especially in/out of the devil's ass crack. I mix synthetic and dino oil all time which maybe makes for more options. A wider viscosity spread means more additives to gum up which is also something to consider.
