What is a good snowboard rack?

I plan on getting the Profile bars that the dealership offers. But I do not like the look of the snowboard attachments that they offer. I have seen others that look better on cars but don't know where to find them on the web. Can you please post what you have and how you like them? I would also like to know if they make alot of noise when the windows or sunroof is open. Thanks alot.

I have the Thule storage carrier. You can load snowboards, skis, luggage, or whatever you wish inside, and everything is protected from the elements. In other words, you don't have to worry about road salt or debris getting into the bindings.

Hey those are the ones I like....
I have a few questions:
Do you notice a difference in sound when you roll the windows or sunroof down?
They do have a locking mechanisim with a key right?
Are those the Profile bars?
If not what are they?
Thanks for the help guys.

After looking at the picture of your car, I got extremely jealous.
I wanted that color, I wanted a 4.4i, I wanted the 4.8is kit, I wanted the 20" 4.6is wheels, I wanted the clear headlights, I wanted the Titanium Grills, I wanted the roofracks and I want the passenger...

How do you get up there ?

I think on the next X I may go with the trailer hitch and then get the mounts that go on the hitch. It's a whole lot easier putting a MTB on that way than the latter.

Chef, what's cooking? Agree it's much easier to put them on the rear with the hitch. I have to step on the running board to load/unload being a bit of a shortie (although a giant compared to CJ ).

Those are Saris cross bars and the Thule ski carrier fit. With Profil 2000 you can only use BMW attachments.
