Any long-term reviews from Dr. Kewl, breytonX5, ekaz, or anyone else would be appreciated.

Thank you.
had the intake on for almost 2months now. No problems what so ever, no SES, and or the MAF getting "injured"

I've had the intake on since the 1st annual X5World meet. I put it on the day before I left for Fort San Juan
I haven't had ANY issues. I definitely agree with the smoother acceleration. There is probably a little more pull according to butt dyno, but I'm used to it now and need more power.
As for the growl above ~3800, not sure if I can hear anything above the exhaust.

On a side note, my filter is going to need cleaning soon, any suggestions where to get the cleaning kit? I don't want to hijack the thread so a PM would be appreciated. Thanks!

Juan congrats on the AFE install!! I've had mine for about a year now and it's been great since day 1. No SES light or MAF issue for me whatsoever. What I noticed was a slight improvement in fuel consumption over the same period. Oh, and I can definitely hear the "whoosh" sound.

I've noticed a 3.3mpg loss in fuel economy.
Am I doing something wrong? Maybe change my filter?
Other than that......Quicker response and intake woosh.

I was driving harder the first tank of gas but not im back to my old driving habits.
I might put everything back to normal to see if the intake is whats causing the problem.
