Playing & converting MP3's ...
Ever since I got Sirius radio, I hardly ever listen to CD's or any other source of music, god forbid local radio! I love some of the new songs on satellite, but how to burn them on to CD?? Most of them can be downloaded but are almost always in MP3 format. Is there a reliable way to convert MP3's to WAV files for burning on to CD? Without losing any sound quality?? Seen some converters on the net but not sure how good they are!

Why would you want to convert them to WAV files? As long as they are good quality MP3s (no less than 128 kbs compression), why bother converting them to WAV files, and (surely) lose some clarity? Most CD players now play MP3s. Unless, of course, you want to play that CD in your car... In that case, get an iPod and hook it up to your X5's radio.

I use DBpowerAmp to convert mp3 to Wav's (mostly for ringtones) and it works great. Let me know if you want it and I'll upload it for you bro.

King,
I'm not sure you are confusing .wav files with .cd files. If you put a store purchased music CD in your computerand check it out via windows explorer, the file extension is not .wav (it is .cd or something like that). I know there are a bunch of products out there. MusicMatch will convert mp3's to CD format (I don't think these are .wav files). It is easy, fast and they will work on most any CD player. |

Nero or whatever CD ROM burning software you have; can convert
MP3s-->WAV-->CDA and create an audio cd. You will lose some level of frequency range but it usually not all that noticeable...
