My X5 just reached the vehicle preparation center. Any idea how long it will spend there, and where in the US is the center?

There is more than one VPC in the U.S. I know there is one in Spartanburg, SC right next to the plant where the X5 is made. Since you live in the Southeast, I suspect that is the one they will use.

CANTWAIT is on a distinguished road
I ordered mine on June 21st and as of today it is in the preparation center. I live in NY, any ideas on how much longer? I can't believe how quick it has been. We are having relatives coming up for a visit and are picking them up from the airport. I would just love to pick them up in the X5, but don't know if that is wishful thinking!

Your VPC is in NJ. Based on my recent experience with my E90, it got from the VPC (West Coast = Oxnard) to me in SoCal in just a few days. Sold customer cars are Priority 1 and those get prepped first.

You just might get it in time for your airport shuttle service.

I ordered my X on June 19, and it was delivered to the dealer on July 7. I pick it up Monday, July 10. This one came directly from the VPC at the factory.

My E90 came off the boat in Newark on 6/26, I picked up at the dealer on 6/30 in the AM

Hah! My new X5 made it to the prep center and then ? accidentally got picked to be sent for random emissions testing. It was "lost" for almost 2 weeks and they finally had to give me a different one (with heated rear seats and steering wheel) for the original price. Good luck...

I just got a call from the dealer. It must have only been at the VPC for a day or two because it is going to arrive at the dealer tonight. I will be picking it up on Thursday at 3:30. Perfect timing to pick up our guests and enjoy it for the weekend!
