The dealer said something about a difference between green and blue discs... They'd had success with one but not the other. Any ideas?
You need the BLUE disc for your X5.

I have the CD-based nav and want to upgrade to the DVD-based nav and I know you have to change the cd for the dvd- is it that complicated to do besides just swapping out drives?

2005 Version in 2006 X5 Delivered in March

I just got my new X5 2006 delivered from the factory last week and found that BMW doesn't have the latest version 2006-2 either at the dealer or at the factory. But I can buy an upgrade to the 2006-2 from Navteq. How crazy is that? You buy a car for more $60K and they can't even offer you the latest DVD.

Frustrated...
