Universal Transceiver question

If you need 6 buttons that means you have six garage doors and anywhere from a 6 to 12 car garage(s). Why balk over an extra $300?

I installed this in April of '05. It is a simple plug and play with the x5. All 6 Homelink buttons are functional. Gives you mirror with compass, with 3 extra Homelink buttons.
