UPDATED! Another successful exhaust mod.
After some time with the straight pipe on my 4.8, I am going another route with the exhaust.....
My Dad and I have a project car that has Flowmaster 50 series SUV mufflers on it, the sound is deep and mean. Well, as you have figured out by now, I have a dual inlet/outlet 50 series Flowmaster going on the X tomorrow. The stock tips have to go, but I have some nice stainless steel Magnaflow tips to replace them. I will hopefully post some pics and sound clips tomorrow.
