From BavAuto:

An absolute must for the fashion conscious BMW enthusiast. This simple replacement bulb and socket assembly replaces the stock unit to give the vehicle's headlamp ring a clean, white 6500 Kelvin brilliance. The super L.E.D. bulb in this assembly upgrades the color from a typical incandescent yellow, to a color typical to H.I.D. bulbs, matching the factory H.I.D. headlamps.

Part Number: 19409

Description: Piaa Angel Eye Bulb Upgrade - Sold As A Pair

Price: $129.95

Good find! From its description, it looks very similar to those Angelibrights. I guessed it might be a lower cost alternative to Angelibright? But at $260 for the pair, it's still a bit steep for me

Many of our customers had already purchased the PIAA kit, did not like it, and bought our Angel iBright instead(see group buy).

Reason being, its less bright then OEM, purplish color, cheap build quality, and uses a resistor, so that the Angel Eye brightness fluctuates with engine speed.

- with one point(brightness) by Dave.

I got a set and tried one side on the M5 yesterday and yes the OEM's are indeed brighter and the PIAA bulb produces a bluish/white color that's totally invisible in daylight.

But they're NOT cheap in terms of build quality, it's actually pretty neat and a true Plug N Play replacement for the OEM's and they DON'T fluctuate with slow engine speed.

The only main issue is the brightness and I would even keep and recommend them if the brightness were at lease the same as the OEM's. Since they're not, it's going back to BavAuto...

Hope this helps to potential buyers of this product, will post some pics tomorrow.
