Another Angel Eye Question!

Anyone know whose silver 4.6 is in the picture half way down the page on this link

http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/l...02-bmw-x5.html

I would be really interested to know what you used/did to acheive a look so close to the facelifted angel eyes as none of the kits seem to get this look - was it just that you left out the reflector pieces?

Thanks

I have a 2002 3.0i X5 and am in the UK. Do you ship the entire headlight unit so I can just swap mine out or do you use the existing headlight. Could you send two new units to the UK with the angel eyes pre-installed?

Sorry, I see on your website you send the whole unit. Do you also clear out the indicators. Can you PM me with a price to ship to London?

UK headlights dip to the other side of USA headlights! You will fail MOT.

You drive on the opposite side of the road. The dip beam has a "kick up" to the right here while in the UK it "kicks up" to the left. Look at you beam pattern on a door or wall and you'll see what I mean. The pattern is designed to give more coverage to the footpath/road signs to your left. It has the same effect to our right. Thus it would blidg on-coming traffic in the UK and, because the lights are stamped DOT not E2 (? memory fails me!) you will be failed for the MOT. Not to mention plod getting blinded and pulling you over to give you lots of little pieces of paper that demand you pay money!

No. The pattern on each beam is achieved with a shutter inside the lense. A LHD lense would have a shutter that is the mirror image of a RDH lense shutter. LHD lights look like this _/_/ and RHD lights look like this \_\_. No amount of aim adjustment can change that.
