That sounds about right...their stock HP is about equal to a 3.0, so any 8cyl. X should be faster.

Yeah that STi is damn fast but Subie couldn't put together an uglier car.

Your M3 should be able to run with an STI, mine did and all I had was an exhaust. A guy I know has a STI and we used to mess around every day on the way to work.

I think its funny that the WRX owners (non-STI) are suprised that their 227hp rides can't hang with a 300hp plus vehicle...not to mention the torque 320ftlbs+ compared to their 214. I'm a little suprised though that this guy says he lost off the line, that is the place the WRX should have been faster.
