Auto electrician
Hi,
A quick question for any Australian friends out there: I'm not qualified (and frankly a bit gunshy) of doing any mods myself. Is there an auto electrician any of you could recommend? I'd like to have the icelink fitted, but also want to silence the belt/warning chime, and disable the TV image cutoff (speed dependant). Obviously Beemer aren't going to be interested in helping me with the last two.... thanks !

The Icelink is easy to connect (just plugs in to the CD changer harness) it just depends on where you want the iPod to live. I had a surplus iPod mini which I just leave sitting in the Icelink cradle in the cubby hole where the CD changer should be. It gets tricky if you want the iPod up front - but for me that's unneccesary.

The warning bell can be silenced pretty easily. Search "silenced warning bell"
.
