That's where I was planning to buy them from. I just bought a an order from TRS for a retrofit I'm doing for a friend and was planning on ordering some nice D2S bulbs to upgrade the OEM x5 bulbs at the same time as shipping to Australia is not cheap.....but then I realise I don't even have an x5 yet and that I should probably concentrate on that first......haha.

Night breakers as I understand, they replaced the SVS..
At 4200k I tought they will have a hint of yellow...that's why I'm shifting more towards 5000k CBI
Let me know thanks!

Ive been on the fence between the NB and CBI's... I wanted the most lumens as possible and went with the NB. They are actually very white. I haven't noticed a hint of yellow but then again, i've only been concern about the light output from the driver's seat.

I've been very happy with the brightness, but I'm itchin for a little blue. Right when you start the car... it's hard to see the blue turn to white! LOL I might consider the CBI's in the future.

That was my dilemma exactly

I asked TRS which they preferred for output and their response was 'it's a coin flip' so I reckon CBI is the way to go

FWIW, Personally I found the CBI hard on my eyes over long drives....they don't cope well with the increased blue and found my eyes straining when trying to discern terrain at the edge of the cuttof. If you want maximum usable light on the road go with the SVS (or whatever its replacement is).

As the boys at TRS pointed out though it's pretty much down to personal preference.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
For what its worth, after about 50 hours of burn-in, NB's and any 4300k bulb tends to settle around 4500k which is perfect, the initial "yellowness" of the bulb dies off.

My Philips 85122's were replaced last year and look amazing now once they have some burn in time on them.
