Do the 2006 model year X5's have retractable mirrors?

While I was at the dealer I asked one of the sales guys and he gave me a brief "no, I don't think so" as he was rushing off to help someone else. I also checked edmunds.com and their web site lists power retractable mirrors as "not available". Did BMW remove retractable mirrors as an option for 2006? Can anyone confirm their availability? I know they were available in the 05's.

Thanks.
I have 06 X5. with them.. and also when I place my X in Rev. my right Mirror lower down so I can see ground.. and my is U.S. Spec..

I have an '06 4.4i. Mine are retractable by pushing a button down near the mirror positioning switch (they don't retract automatically).

My 2006 X5 3.0i also has the retractable mirrors which is not the same as the passanger side mirror droping down when in reverse. It has the sport, premium, cold weather, auto dimming mirrors but I don't know exactly which package it was included with. Probably the auto dimming mirrors.

Automatic-dimming, power folding outside rear-view mirrors let you regularly check the vehicles around you without becoming blinded by headlight glare. Convenient "puddle" lights in the mirrors offer illumination when entering or exiting the vehicle (std. on X5 4.8is; included in X5 4.4i Premium Package; optional on X5 3.0) that's all under the Premium Package.

Automatic tilt-down of right outside mirror for visibility of curb when backing up

yeah my 06 3.0 has this optional though don't ever recall the sales person pointing this out to me until i found out for myself.

I test drove a 2006 in Canada and it had electric fold in mirrors.

Yes, on my '06 4.4 w/ premium package both my mirrors fold in at the touch of a button. The passenger mirror tilts down toward the ground when reversing as well. This is great when parallel parking or just backing up into a parking space in general but can be a bit of a pain when reversing out of a parking spot.

If you slide the mirror switch to the passenger side the tilting mirror feature does not work. Very helpful when backing out of a parking spot.

I have the power folding mirrors, honestly I never use them... yes they add wow factor for people, but if I were looking at them as a separate option I would definatley not get them. Just my 2cents.
