I just got the H&R wheel spacers and springs today. There being installed on Monday so I'll take some pics and see how much room I have for tires.

In your first post in this thread you asked for input and I provided you with all the correct data on your choice of tyres and the recommended options. You are free to choose to fit what tyres you like!I can truly understand why you want the bigger diametre tyre on the rear! Looking at your pics now,its the front that its raised by 11.5mm in relation to the front! So,you want to compensate the rear by fitting a higher wall profile tyre, but in fitting the 305/30 on the rear you will be "over doing " it and create a raised rear look and there will be a larger difference between your front and rear rolling diametre! Also, with an 11" wheel and a 305 tyre, you shouldnt really need to fit spacers! The facts are that if you leave the 265/30 tyres on the front and fit the 305/30s on the rear not only will your car have a "raised rear look" but you will have loads of discreptancies which were kindly pointed out to you by JOSH4.6! INFORMATIVE I try to be ,MALICIOUS!Never! |

I agree.
I dont think I was understanding you before. I need the spacers in the rear because the front tire sticks out farther than the rear. Here's a couple of pics, I think you can notice what im talking about. Oh and I just put the AE's in today. |

CanadianX5, Awesome rims man......If only I got the money
I'd get those ! One thing I gotta say though, I live in Vancouver, the road condition are like crap, so I cant imagine the ride on 265/30s man, my 22x9.5 replicas are 285/35/22 wiz Toyos, they are very smooth wiz amazing grip ! However, it does sacrifies the ride comfort and increases road noise. Let me know how it goes after those springs are install, I bet its even more harsh on the ride

Thanks
The fronts are not to bad, It the 295/25's in the rear. I already hit a rock or small chunk of concrete and put a hole through the rear passengers rim.(should be fixed by tomorrow) And I know what you mean about Van's roads, narrow, full of potholes, traffic 18 hours a day and construction. Good luck with yours. Take care of em. |
