I've got the same exact Dinan exhaust as you guys. What's happening is quite simple. You were used to your stock OEM tips looking a certain way, so obviously when the Dinan exhausts got installed, they look very different. But the new look grew on me very quickly, and I am VERY GLAD I did not cut the tips. I think they look bad ass! It gives our Xs a very distinctive look. It's a look that says "performance"

Personally I think its a look that says "unfinished".

I remember the rolled chrome exhaust tips that came with my Borla setup on my '03 cobra at almost half the cost of the Dinan setup. Just seems too unfinished for my liking. To each their own though.

Download drivers and user manuals free

Hi! My name is Kate, I am an administrator of site File-Drivers.com. You can download drivers , firmware and software for different devices. All files on our site are grouped under hardware, for example: Samsung CD-DVD driver download, High Point SATA-RAID driver download, Tekram video capture driver download, etc. All drivers you can download absolutely free, but if your needed driver is not listed, you can request it from our support, and after it will be added to our database file, you will be notified via email. Every day we add user guides and service manuals and other files for configuration repair devices, to reduce your time searching for a file.

E53,

I agree it does have a feel of bare bones. I asked Steve Dinan the very same question when having my E53 worked on. He said that has always been Dinan's fit & feel, more race then show. He pointed out the super chargers they have no polish or shine just a matte finish. The piping for air intakes matte black. I would actually prefer a little pomp and circumstance under the hood myself, but that is not the way do things.
