They also had 2 other 4.4's that had the same set up and they all looked the same as mine. So i am leaving the exhaust as is... I will be posting sound clips when i get her back from the INSPECTION II. they gave me a tiny 335i as a loaner, fun car, but would be a ton better with a sport package...
if you ever get sick of the length get 4.6 tips, cut off a bit of the Dinan tips, paint them black and weld on the 4.6 tips. it looks alooot better IMO..im happy now: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...installed.html

it will run you about $200-$250 parts + install..

saw that post, they look great! I think i am going to leave them for now. I would hate to have to cut the DINAN exhaust tips since they cost me so much $$$$$$$$$, but thanks for the idea!

here are a few pictures of the exhaust,

She will be going in on Tuesday to have the CAI and Throttle bottle finished, as well as the rest of the SW. Nice to have it all paid for and just waiting to have it installed..

Hey guys,

Actually that set up is correct. I have the S3 package on my 03 4.6 and I have a couple of buddies that go to the track with me that have the exhaust and a few other Dinan mods. They all stick out that far, for me at first it was an acquired taste. Now, I don't even notice..... I have attached a couple of pic's and a link to my last dyno run so you can get a feel for the sound when it's all wound up!

PS. I also put an x-pipe on it as well!
