Help needed. Problem with start-up getting worse. Did some testing but need more help

Got the new one installed yesterday. So far so good. I haven't driven it much but will keep an eye on it and let you know.

BTW the 2nd part number is thw one they sent me but It wasn't the right part. The display showed "locked ignition". I ohmned out the old and new switch which looked identical. The new one didn't make contact in different key positions. I had to modify the new one so that it made contact at the same time and position as the old one. Alot simplier then it sounds. But all is good so far.

Good to hear Silver, Not every day you get to do an ignition switch. They are not as high tech as one would think huh.

Yea, no electronics involved. Just some plastic pieces and afew terminals. Btw after 3 days not one miss-start!! Thanks again for your help. I'd still be looking for somewhere to start!! Let me know if you ever need anything, Rob.
