If the new model arrives early 07 we will wait atleast 6months for the diesel and 4.8.

I'm talking price at the moment with my dealer as the wife likes the new X3 so the current X5 3.0 will get traded on that when it arrives in Nov, and I am trading the 4.8 on another one at the same time......

Any numbers quoted by BMW Oz apprecaited

I was debating between black or silver back in 2003 when I was buying. I chose the silver because black vehicles are so hard to keep clean. The ESS kits aren't really cheap but if you have a guy who knows his stuff about forced induction and beamers you can easily push some serious power out of the vortec blower. I posted a while back about my upgrades to get 10.5 psi. But I've decided to move on from the X5 and the 07 x5 doesn't look that good in my eyes.

I had a call from the stealer ..... thinking that after 3 months they were ringing to organise the extended test drive?

The girl range to advise that she had taken over from the last bloke and she would be looking after me! ..... I asked her if she was organising my extended test drive of the 4.8 as offered by BMW Australia and she said for me to come down and she will take me for a test drive?????

Anyway ..... a quick email to BMW Australia enquirying as to when they would be contacting me for the test drive ..... and ..... a phone call today from a different guy to organise ..... only problem they have no 4.8's!

Although ..... to his credit he advised that the E70 was coming out probably May 2007 in Oz ..... so am awaiting his call

Will keep you posted!
