i've seen a few with the M badge. never gave it a second thought until now. i think it's kinda cool. why call it 'cheesy', what's funny about it? the M badge is all over the inside of some, so why not the outside too?

The M badge by itself isn't cheesy at all since BMW is using it these days to spruce up some of its sportier model. So, a ///M badge doesn't necessarily mean that it's an ///M model these days unless the series model is attached behind it ala M3, M5, M6. So, unless the guy made in such a way that it reads ///MX3 or ///MX5, then I don't see any reason why we should call him a "poser".
