A 4.4L would make a nice tow vehicle for my auto-x car, but it wouldnt be practical for the 28days of the month I am not competing. The same dealer that listed the 3.0 I am interested in has an 03 4.4L w/47k miles, but non CPO for the same price as the 3.0 CPO.

what i heard is 4.4, 4.6, 4.8 have more problems than the 3.0 version. and 3.0 are less expensive, maybe higher gas milage.
