Arrow My V1 install (with pictures) +

Sorry for the dirty and quick pictures but this should be
enough to get you started or *excited* LOL

Picture 1 and 2 shows what the rear headrest looks like with
the bottom flap semi loose.
Notice how the V1 cable runs inside the liner
(I used a putty knife to softly slide the flat wire in).
With the headrest down and secured, one can never tell there is a V1
hidden there. I took the knob off because sometimes the V1
would behave freaky when the knob got pressed once inside the headrest.

I hid the S1 under the trunk lid secured by a single screw
and this way it does not move. The Ibus cable and the power
was routed under the matt to the CD changer area.
I tapped for the iBUS using the CD changer iBus cable

With the trunk lid secured, one can never tell if there is an S1.
It is indeed totally stealth!!

For S1 and V1 power, I used the rear headlight power cable.
This way when I wish to use the V1 (mostly at night) and in
the morning, I just turn the parking lights on

One loses a bit of front and rear V1 range but not that much.
Since I took the inner shell of the rear headrest out, there is only
a small cushion between the front of rear receivers of the V1.

The last picture shows you a quick and dirty way to ramp up
the crappy sound system. The DSP now sounds much much
tighter and the bass is awesome even at low volumes..not like
the loud booms you hear from blinged cars. I am using the
DSP amp to drive the two 12" subs.

Hope this makes sense. wifey calls. back to fulfill her needs. :P

Back in 1998 I was waiting inside a parked car with a friend somewhere in west Toronto area when a cop approached and asked to hand over the radar detector. My friend lost the detector and also had to pay the ticket. It is not that easy to hide.

I was just kidding above. I haven't used a detector since the late 80's

Any trouble with reception (front - I imagine there's ZERO rear reception) with the V1 that far back (and low) in the vehicle?
