For anyone having trouble deciding what color to choose between the black and chrome. Go with the black. It's not really black at all. I saw them in person today at my local muffler shop but they were listed at $90 each. The black is like a shiny titanium black. Looks very good. And I have a Toledo Blue.

Thanks to BaKerR414 for the idea and info, I had those same exhaust tips installed today and they look awesome. After a bit of contemplating, I decided to go with the stainless steel rather than the black chrome, to match it with the running board. Plus the fact that I wanted a little bit of a contrast in the rear rather than a complete blackout look.

The tips looked huge out of the box, but as you can see, they are just slightly smaller than the stock 4.6is once installed. I had the muffler shop take about 1 1/2 inch off (in length) from the inlet in order for those tips to tuck back in a bit from the bumper. Otherwise, they will be parallel with the rear bumper, which makes it stick out a tad too much for my tastes (the original overall length of these tips are about 9 1/2 inches!).

Can you take some close up pictures of the length of the exhaust tips that you have sticking out? i want a good idea on how far to leave mine out.

Here are a couple of quick close up shots of the exhaust tips I just snapped off in my garage tonight. As you can see...the tips extend out quite a bit even after sawing off about 1 1/2 inch. Hope it gives you a good idea of how far out you want those tips to hang. GL

Mine stick out a good inch more than yours do and I really like the look of it. It all depends on how aggressive you want your cars ass to look.
