So the direct answer is no this Mod is only for 3.0 mufflers then, shit i liked it.

What can I do to replace the black ones on my 4.4 anyone have a suggestion that would lokk either like the ractive mod or make my tips look like a Remus ? I want some stainless back there as I Mod my muffler system.

maybe you can do it

depending on how far apart are the end pipes of the 4.4i, maybe you can cut out the back wall of the T815 tips and slide them over the 2 tips of the 4.4i. my brother has the 4.4i when he comes over i will masure the distance from the edge of 1 tip to the other and or i will try to use my tips to see if it will slide over them, i`ll do this on monday when i go over to the shop.

Thanks for everyones help. I have been having trouble getting a hold of the T815B tips (black chrome), they are to my understanding to be on backorder for 4 to 6 weeks. Thats one of the reasons why I having been able to get them while almost everyone else has been able to. I just decided to get the chrome ones and hopefully the order goes through. Thanks again.

Did you cut 1 1/2 inch off of the Ractive tips?
The reason I ask is because I have PDC, and I already had them installed but the sensors are going off right now. I have to go back on Monday or Tuesday to get it fixed but I will try here for suggestions first. I didn't get any part cut off of the Ractive tip... I might try a car wash.

Isn't the tip of the 3.0 OEM exhaust slanted down a little bit? so how are these tips pointing straight out if they were slipped over the OEM without modifying the OEM tip 1st? I think I'm missing something here? someone please explain. Thx

Where did you go???? I had my 4.8 tips put on for $60, that included cutting off the 4.4 tips and welding the new ones on.

Uaaaah thx SuaveX5. Are you doing an 05 facelift? You really need the 4.8 replica wheels and the clear corners. That would make your X look awosome
Do you have to remove the bumper to cutoff the OEM muffler tip? if not, how do you cut it off with the bumper on? is there room to do that?
