Door handle problem
I have a 2001 4.4i still under the CPO warranty. The driver side door handle is chipping and the aluminum looking insert is sticking out/not resting in the right position. Just wanted to know if this would be covered under the warranty. I believe I saw somewhere on this forum that it was, but just wanted to double check. Thanks! |

They are covered under the Original warranty, but not sure about it if it's under CPO.

they fixed me door handles when they "broke" and wouldn't open the door anymore, so i don't see y not! ( that was CPO ), unluckly right after the CPO went up POP broke again, convinent huh? now its only 400 to fix, not bad huh, think i'ma start fixing BMW's for a living.

I was referring to the inside door handles, not the exterior ones.

My Dealer, JMK BMW in New Jersey changed mine for free. I brought my 2003 X5 in to have the bluetooth installed and when he saw my door handles he said he wanted to replace themfor me. They didn't even look that bad to me. They did it all for free.
