Whistle UK Navigation DVD burn issues

Hi all!

Firstly I would like to intrduce my self as a new member of the board having bought my x5 a couple weeks back - thanks everyone for all your effort into making this such an informative site for owners

Rite, on to my question, which I hope someone may be able to help. I have recently doanloaded a copy of the 2006-02 European DVD navigation disc. I have tried to burn it using both DVD-R and DVD+R at the lowest speeds possible on my drive (Philips). Both discs are not being recognised by my MKIV unit - DVD+R ejects staright awawy, whilst DVD-R just keeps spinning in the drive. I have a 2003 January registered X5 - has anyone had any luck in getting copied DVD discs to work in this year car? (I have read that most 2005 X5 drivers have not had any problems with playing back copied discs).

Thanks i advance for ur help guys!
