Its more like alot of fog build up and just a bit of water condensation at the edges. I went back and checked my garage an hour later and everything was gone and dry.

Are the headlights sealed or are there vents?

Agree with getting them replaced. Had both mine replaced on a '02 4.4i before warranty expired. Dealer required to be able to see condensation before agreeing to replace though. Those suckers are about $500 bucks just for the headlight and I'd guess another 5 bills to have them installed.

i got condensation on my reverse lights. it was about +26 degree celcius outside, and after a carwash, the condensation appeared. i thought it is normal since it is at least 10 degrees sudden temperature drop, but will check with the dealer

I don't see a problem with it as long as it does not cause any problems. If it does, then the dealer will have to fix it. If your car's warranty is going to end soon, then you may want to have the dealer fix it. My car is a 3 year lease and I am covered by warranty the entire time, so I don't see any urgency to it. If it causes problems at some time, then I will deal with it then.

This is a problem and is not normal. I had the exact same thing happen on my GTX. After time it left deposits on the reflector of the light and eventually made them dirty and affected the lights. I now have the same thing on my 01 X5 and my friend at BMW told me to seal them up with some clear sealant, because I am out of warranty. So I did, no problems since... but if you have the warranty insist they change them or re-seal them.

I've never noticed it on mine but to be honest I've never looked. Now I have to check next time it rains.

What type of sealant did you use? I'm curious to know as I will be baking a pair of '01 headlights (for angel eyes) to install on my '03 and it appears the headlights I purchased has had some condensation issues at one point in time. Thanks in advance.
