condensation?!

Drove my brand new x5 out for the first rainy/muggy day and noticed alot of condensation build up on both the headlights. This is a new '06 w/xenon headlights.

Normal or Not?

Many complaints, over the diff. model years, but
not "normal", imo.

Our nearly 5 yr old '01, has never exhibited any
condensation within the headlight covers.
GL,mD

PS: fixable by Stlr, espc. if they are careful
and take their time with the R&R.

I've noticed it a few times in my '06, but it seems to go away on it's own, so I haven't worried about it.

I get the same exact thing as in your photos. It seems to dry up pretty quick after the rain stops, so I haven't worried about it.

I also have an 06 X5 3.0 and have the same condensation you showed in your pictures. I will be asking the dealer about it tomorrow and will post back their reply
