Need help with exhaust decision for my 2002 4.4

I want to complete the look of the 4.6 so I need the tips on my 4.4. I have searched and read at least a 1,000 post on the issue but I still can’t make up my mind. I would like a little bit more growl and of course the look of the 4.6.

1. Just buy the 4.6 tips and cut my 4.4 pipes and weld on 4.6 tips and install x-pipe

2. Buy dinan exhaust $1,400 cut the dinan tips weld on 4.6 tips

3. Buy 4.6 exhaust and install x-pipe

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Option number 4. Supersprint!!!

Has the 4.6 tips on it. Supposed to have a nice tone (I do not have one yet.) A full exhaust system unlike the Dinan kit. The Dinan is not a bolt on system. You have to cut your exhaust and weld on the Dinan mufflers.

If you go with the Supersprint you can install it yourself and then either keep your 4.4 pipes or sell them to someone with a 3.0.

I would also cut out a hitch opening cover to fit around your hitch. It really cleans up the look.

I have the supersprint with straight pipes on my 3.0...it make sit sound like a monster...I would suggest getting the x-pipe first with the stock exhaust and c if you like how it sounds...it could be loud enough even with the stock exhaust

I have an 03 4.6is I installed a Dinan exhaust system, much better sounding then stock. Most of the guys I know with 4.6's change out the exhaust. Anyway, I have a used Dinan exhaust system both sides with original packaging and instructions (sounds great with deep low rumble) with miner scratch & nick to inside pipe on passenger side that I will sell you for $950 + shipping. e-mail me & I will forward you a couple of photos.

Thanks bigfish I think I am leaning to the Eisenhaus or supersprint or a last option 4.8 exhaust with x-pipe.
Thanks again
