I am replacing my brake rotors,,,, any help?

Hi guyz

I am replacing my brake rotors,
Any suggested kind of rotors or I should go to the Original rotors from BMW dealer

I just replaced my front rotors. I got Brembo's for $70 each from my local auto parts store versus $140 from BMW. The job took about 1.5 hours without any problems.

I used aftermarket front rotors, Raybestos VSMs I think. If you get non-OEM rotors, make sure that they have a coating to prevent surface rust on the non-rubbing surfaces (hub, edge, etc). For the rears I used OEM because they were very close in price to the aftermarket.

I haven't used them, but I like the look of the Centric rotors. I would watch out for Brembo because there are a lot of clones out there, the original Brembos are OK. Skip the drilled and slotted, IMO, as it is purely cosmetic, unless that is the look that you want.

i've had the $70 Brembos before, they were NOT coated
went back to oem after awhile

...I went with the Centric Rotors from Zeckhausen about 3 months ago....loving them.....in combination with the Axxis Deluxe pads, I've never felt better stopping power and response....
