Question Insurance group!

hi

i am new here and want to buy a X5 but i dont know what the insurance group the X5 would come in. I would like a 3.0 diesel as i dont want any thing to sporty. Can any one help me ?

sorry maby did not make it clear like a level as in a level 2 insurance would be realy cheap and a level 20 which is the highest u can go up to is realy expensive i dont know if this is the case in the United States or if this some starnge british thing

:xoutpost: The US does not use the same insurance bands as the UK.

A for instance is that my Lotus Esprit V8 is 60% less to insure than my X whereas in the UK my old 1989.5 Lotus Esprit 2.2L was in Group 8 I believe, I just remember it cost me an arm and a leg plus 6 months lost license for going 134Mph on the M2 on a Sunday afternoon which effectivley tripled my insurance!

Hope someone from the UK gets back to you mate.
