I've seen this post/reference numerous times on this thread. I hate to burst you're bubble, guys, but this occurs on hundreds of cars of various makes and models. Try it!!

Additionally, you can give a good wang to the neighboring parked car if you are in the HABIT and without looking. Just a thought.

The insert piece is number 16 in this pic. Its a handy wee tray and can easily fool people into thinking there is nothing below! I cant see it being that expensive to order one from BMW if you wanted it.

A couple of more features/extras that can be installed.

A CD or tape holder that fits in the centre arm rest. Number 4

There is also a coin holder in there, Number 2



There is another tray that can be installed where the phone cradle is below the arm rest. What you do is eject the phone cradle and install the tray.

Already bought it for $14 from my dealer. It's a must if you don't have it. More preactical for my use.

There is only one thing I can not do from all these little gadgets and it pisses me off
I try to hold trunk button on my remote but nothing hapens, i mean trunk unlocks but no Panic mode, no alarm sounded. I have tested my alarm and it works. Could it be that this feature is not available in European Union? Just like you can not have that beep when you lock or unlock car. I lots of countries is forbiden. Anyone has ideas?

It is set-able in car and key memory settings... at least in the States. May be in there for the Euro models.
