Just noticed a weird one - may be intentional from BMWs part or not, but when your kids play with the cabin lights in the back and leave ONE side on, you can tell which one directly when you unlock the car - the light in the OFF position will 'warm up' more slowly than a light that was left 'on' which hits full brightness immediately when the car is unlocked.

Have owned the car for almost 4 years and just noticed.... :P

The sad thing about this thread is that it makes you remember the cool stuff that E53 had, and that E70 miss!! I wonder why would BMW remove a lot of cool stuff from an exceptionally successful car! for what i know, new generations should be ENHENCED not downgraded!!

As a first time BMW car owner (we have three BMW motorcycles) this was a very informative read. Thanks to everyone that contributed to my education.

Hello friends,
I'm a fan of BMW from Bulgaria / Europe. Our fan club is big compared to the population of our country. But none of these 92k + users could not answer me: can i code / adjust or reset Air Suspension of BMW E53 2001 with this BMW Scanner 1.4.0 software? Please if any of you know to help me because I have an urgent need for calibration? Thanks fellas!
