xymox is on a distinguished road
I can't say enough about the X

I'm from San Diego and decided to drive up for thanksgiving to visit the folks in Tacoma. I drove through slush, ice, snow, rain, curves, etc....I've never felt at one with the road with any other ride I've ever owned.
I was doing 100+ through the grapevine and it was unreal. I had a grin the whole time and was able to justify my monthly payments.
My wife even mentioned how I should post on here and tell people that you don't fully realize the value of the X until you go on a long drive (it took us 22 hrs due to L.A. traffic and Mt. Shasta bottle neck). The comfortability, the smoothness, the turns, etc...She doesn't even want to drive her FX anymore after this one (we took turns on the drive).
It literally hugged the road and the engine was smooth the whole way. It truly was a driving experience. The craziest part was when I dodged a truck that slammed into another vehicle while going 85 mph. When I swerved to the shoulder, I felt like I was gaming gran turismo. It was truly impressive and saved our arses more than once during the trip.

I was a little annoyed getting passed up by a 750 series when I was already at 110 mph on a safe, clear straightway (should have bought the 4.8)

Also maybe it's just me, but I passed up a few cops going 88 mph and they completely ignored me. One cop even had the radar gun pointed straight at me. This is unusual since Oregon cops tend to have little tolerance for us California speed demons. The wife had a theory that the X looks illusionary slow hence the blind spot
