Paging Mr.UCrew...
A post from that ol'RF board, and poster has instructions for fuel filter change. Do as you wish. BR, D
DIY fuel filter change info(7 views) (7 thread views) Message: I found the instructions/illustrations to change the fuel filter. It's a pricey little part since the pressure regulator is intergrated. Around $60 mail order. Someone mentioned that the dealer quoted 3 hours labor which is rediculous. Probably 1 - 1.5 hour for a first timer. Basically the panel infront of the wheel well on the driver side is removed after a bunch of bolts are off. All accessible from under the car. I have the instructions in a PDF file. Anyone host? it's 455k in size. http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums/e53/6341704-1.html
