The All Weather ones are much better, first because of the quality and secondly because of the design. The water runs down the little channels, away from the cuff on your pants and collects at the bottom and contains the melted snow. The other design is simply poor. BMW tried to give them to me when I got my X5, they lasted a week and I replaced them with the All Weather mats

Thanks to everyone for their advice, especially the last post from Toronto - fantastic information. I'm going with the All-Weather Ones. Quick question to those that have them, is it possible to just drop them on top of the existing floor mats or does one definitely have to remove the regular floor mats for these to fit properly?

I remove the summer mats for 2 reasons. First to keep them clean, secondly to secure hem better. These come a velcro mounting plate that locks into the floorpan and there is a fastener on the back of the mats.

I have the Catch All Mats. They are expensive but the quality is a thousand times better then those ugly rubber mats. The are carpeted and are made with a lip all around the edges to keep water/mud/snow from getting on the floor. They are easy to clean just hose them off. The fitment front and back are like OEM. I love them. If anyone is interested I can snap afew pics.

I have the all weather ones in the front/rear and the matching liner in the back - LOVE them. You just take 'em out and hose them down...virtually impossible to stain or destroy too!

Go for the all weather mats. I comparwd both and they seem to be of similar quality but the all weathers look much nicer.
