Angry Fast Eddie....

Some of you might have seen his post where he posted his Titanium Trim( pictures so happened to have been removed from the link ) and 20" Rims for Sale.

I don't think he will reply. I have given him 4 PM's and 3 calls on his cell phone. I hope that he can give me a reason for what transpired. It just sad that people can't be honest about things.

I am not sure what Titanium Trim means to some but in the BMW world Titanium Trim means Titanium Silver since the darker silvers are not called Titanium. Metallic Graphite is the other trim for the X5 ( correct me if I am wrong on this one ).

Well I paid for the Trim through Paypal on 1/3/07 and he said it was ready to ship out the next day but they were shipped on Saturday. I was in no hurry so that wasn't a problem for me.

I received them on Tuesday 1/9/07 but didn't open them until last night. They were dropped off at my door steps so I didn't sign for them. I then discovered they were not Titanium in color but actually Graphite Metallic(dark gray). I have left him a message last night and then again this morning and then again before this post. I am sure if he responds I only called him once or not at all. The PM's were nice and asked him what happened. No reply there yet. I don't get upset right away until I know what happened and why OR they don't return my calls like before and no answers to the PM's.

He always picked up the phone fairly quick and kept in good contact with me until the transaction was complete ( I guess you would want to ).

The pictures with a flash made the Graphite Metallic look brighter and I didn't question the color at the time. They are not MINT but in good shape. They are also missing the pegs that attached to the trim to insert them into the holes in the door panels.

My dark poplar trim is metal backed and the pegs are attached to the metal so no chance of getting them off. The pegs are not listed for the X5 but if they use the same pegs from the 3 series then they are 3.50 each and I need 16 of them.

Since he works at BMW and owns another BMW I know that he knows what Titanium Trim means.

The MINT part doesn't bother me as much as the fact he advertised Titanium Trim and it wasn't. I didn't want dark gray with my Black Interior and I could have painted my current trim now if I wanted but I wanted to keep them and buy a set that was already Titanium. Painting = $150.00 TRIM FROM EDDIE = $430.00 Shipped - NO CALL FROM EDDIE = PRICELESS. Please prove me wrong Eddie!!

The only resolution is disputing it through my card and let them handle it. They will work it out I am sure but crap like this just makes me skeptical about dealing with other people out there who are truely honest.

I am going to give him a shot to explain himself because most likely he won't and even if he did it wouldn't make up for the fact that it wasn't Titanium and he knows it. Can't play dumb when you work around BMW's all day long. You know that the Titanium color in BMW has always been and will always be Bright Silver. Even it's not an exact match to the Titanium silver paint it should be closer.

I have pictures I will post later.

Come on Eddie lets play nice and explain to me why you advertised Titanium. I guess you have no reason to visit here any longer since you traded your X5 in.

I would not have bought it knowing it was NOT Titanium.
