:xoutpost: Post some pics. I was quoted 1250.00 for extended maintenance when I bought mine CPO'd but I made them throw it in. Definately worth it.

asawadude, that was an excellent article that you linked about the Sylvania Silver Stars, It answers the majority of questions/concerns I've had about why these bulbs continously burn out on my BMW.

Do you think types of vehicles as well, i.e. non-BMW vehicles have better luck with these bulbs? I have a friend who has Silver Stars and he hasn't had a problem with them, he drives a Dodge Ram. Is there something with vehicle power specs that would cause bulbs like these on BMWs to burn out quicker than say Dodge Rams? OR just my "humurous" luck to have these bulbs burn out on me?

I have had Sylvania Silvers in my last 3 cars, including my X5, and have never had them burn out or had any other problems.

I'm going to get the car washed this weekend, here in Houston we've had some pretty nasty winter weather as I'm sure most of you in the US have heard.

Once my x5 is washed, i'm be more than happy to post the pictures, I've seen some pictures on here and I'm amazed how awesome they look! Good job everyone!
