Hazard Switch

hello all. just got back from a 2 week nap... took the x for a drive. while sting at a red light the hazard light got my attention. and bang it hit me. the lock switch does not glow.. and i dont remember if it ever did with the lights on??

guess ill be calling the stealer in the morning. im going to unplug. and check if something is loose.. just odd that it just stop working.. Thank You!

Having a few BMW in my garage over the years, every one of them had at least one interior lighted switch/knob that required annual replacement from a burnt out non-replaceable bulb. Thanks for the heads up on the "one" in the E53.

I think he means the actual button on the center console is no longer illuminated.

correct. lock button no longer illuminating. picked up a new one this morning. back to normal. it was just crazy that i couldn't remember if it ever did. guess im getting old..... THANK YOU ALL!
