I only use them to hold my phone! I don't know why it looks like that. The picture makes it look much worse than it actually is.

I must consider that...

How about the rear cupholders? My rear ones don't spring out anymore...you have to pull it out . and one of the tabs on the back is broken...

I did not know they would replace the cup holder springs under warranty. I only have about 25K on my 05 X, I think I need a stop at my local BMW dealership.

Franklin, which dealer did you get them from? I called and they said it needs to replace the whole console cup holder for $101.83 in stock at North BMW. Thanks!

Kenny

I bought the replacement clips for mine a few months ago, same part as mentioned earlier in the thread. I like the new ones better, next time I have the console out I am planning to change the remaining three

John, I thought you don't need to remove the whole console in replacing the new clips. My just disappear. Thanks for your input.

I still have three that never broke, so those are the ones I want to replace. Also, don't like the idea of having them rattle around inside the console

Cool

My clips did also disappear - fortunately they donŽt make any noice down under the cup-holders (yet).

Thanks for the good tip - IŽll try to get at set here in DK.

Did you get a price quote from Morristown BMW (site sponsor)?
