whats special about 37 degrees?

Yeah, well, up here in the way, way north, its colder than 37 degrees from about November till first of April, so I don't need my BMW telling me that there may be ice on the road, cuz the ice is there for 5 months straight! So I have to listen to the car beep at me everytime I pull out of my heated garage.

And since there are more BMWs in one LA street than there are in my entire state, I don't see BMW really caring about the fact that I'd like a delete option on the ice warning!

It can be turned off by the dealer.
