You can get the kit for a little under $600 from Morristown BMW, and have it painted for around $300-400.
Yeah. It was Bimmerfreak. That sucks how they still post in on their site when they don't offer it anymore. Oh well.
I just e-mailed Bimmerfreak and they said they still sell them, they just don't stock them. Lead time is rougly 10-15 business days for the order to ship.

Really? That's good to hear. I inquired about the kit last december, and they said they didn't carry it anymore.

I know this is an old post, but if I need a new rear bumper anyways on a 2005 4.4i and am wanting to do the 4.6 kit with the wheel arch flares on the side...wouldn't I just order the 4.6is rear bumper 51127062598 (instead of the 4.4i one) so it already has the side slots for the bumper supports? It should install fine on a 2005 4.4 shouldn't it? I want to say that the rear bumper was the same from years 2001 thru 2006, yes?

same for the rear 00-06 and none 4.6/4.8 the bumper not pre-slotted you have to trim off the taps on the kit.
