Angry X3 Guys.... X5 Haters

Well I was kinda bored tonight so I took a stroll over the the X3 web forum on X5 World. Saw an interesting heading for a post on the new X3 rally car. Was damn shocked when I started reading the thread. Did you guys know the X3 guys do not like the X5? Words like "huge" and "bulky" often pop up! In my six months of surfing X5 World I have never seen X5'rs hurl epithets such as "puny" or "wee vehicle" at the X3 guys. I think they are just jealous they do not have X5's and are wanna bees driving their little girly cars!!!

http://www.xoutpost.com/x3-e83-forum/...ous-dakar.html <--- Link to the blasphemy

<--- X3 guys

<--- X3 guys says "I am glad mine is not big and bulky. I like my little one. Smaller is sooo much better. Chics like the little ones."

<--- X5 guy taking care of an X3 guy talking about the "huge" "bulky" X5

<--- What the X3 guys are doing over there when we are not looking

Hmm, I don't see any hating going on. The X5 is bigger and heaver than the X3, there's no denying it. If the X3 owners liked the X5 they would have bought an X5, and visa versa. Different vehicles for different needs, budgets and tastes.

I have one of each (a 2.5 X3 and a 4.4 X5). X3 owners are passionate about their vehicles because they're the best handling SUV's on road... the "Driver's Car" of SUV's.

Nothing against the X5, it's a great truck, but I have way more fun driving our X3, plus it has more cargo, head and leg space than the X5, all wrapped up in a sportier package. Around here the X5 is piloted primarily by soccer moms. The people who love driving go for the X3.

I've never been a fan of the X3 for a variety of reasons but to each it's own, this thread is hate driven, tsk tsk!
