I know it was warranty work but what does that little part cost I wonder........

When did v.23 come out, I am not sure what version I have but they claim its up to date.

I don't know the cost but the part number was 11 61 7 505 805

It took 2.25 hours of tech time.

With regard to trans software, I am sure that I don't have the current version if it came out in September 06, but I got your information too late thanks anyhow. I will deal with this on the service in August when it gets its annual oil change.
