![]() Martin has also shown me how to integrate the ejector box too. He clearly showed me what wires to connect so my install will look exctly like OEM (Ill post pics of this too when I do it). Incase you are wondering, no you do not need to use the ejector box for BT to work as Bimmernav install a pairing button (OEM of course) into the harness (see pics in my article). Bimmernav.com supplied all the parts I needed, I paid less for the whole kit from him them than BMW quoted me for the ULF alone. As one final note I cannot believe how hard BMW made this installation sound after I bought my X5. I am going down to the dealers to pick up some parts later and I am going to educate them a little while I am there. Anyone who hasn't used a BMW bluetooth kit before, I now have the ability to: Read SMS messages through the OBC Read Phonebook from my P990i Add/Store/Delete Memos Add Voice Tags/Names/Numbers in onboard computer Dial/Edit/Delete Names/Numbers in onboard computer Display last dialed numbers through the OBC Use all MFSW controls All without even taking the phone out of my pocket. If your thinking of doing the install just do it, by far the most used modification I think is available. |
